Movie Review

I have just watched nearly three hours of this movie and if you haven't seen it I wouldn't want to put you off - but quite frankly I would enjoyed myself more had I spent those three hours attempting to plait grey fog!!!

Even Anthony Hopkins and Brian Blessed couldn't rescue it. Colin Farrell is crap - wooden and ridiculous and Angelina Jolie is even worse. (Is it just me or does she annoy the c**p out of anyone else?) I was expecting drama and red hot passion and great fight scenes and a very sexy leading man (Gladiator anyone?...that Russell Crowe would do it for me!!) but I just got bored and annoyed. Even the blood and guts in the big battle scenes were laughable.

If you haven't seen it I wouldn't bother.

Oh yes - for the girls - I suppose Colin Farrell has got nice arms..however he's got crap yellow hair and a ridiculous accent. He'd be more at home playing 'The Milky Bar Kid"...he even looks about 12.

  1. I never liked Colin Farrell either until I saw 'In Bruges' the other week. He is brilliant in what is a truly brilliant film. It's on iTunes, download it now and watch it now. You won't regret it. If not come round here and watch it tomorrow. We can have lager.

    Love you Tracy!!

  3. This film is a pile of poo!
It is really bad - and in fact there are 3 versions of this film circulating. Apparently Ridley Scott's "Final" cut is the best - but after seeing it the first time i dont think I could stomach this twice :S

"Featuring 45 minutes of new footage, Oliver Stone's Alexander can now be experienced as he meant it to be seen with this all-new unrated version which brings the film to a heightened level of realism and intensity. "
