Seeing as I don't want her becoming a casualty - it's perhaps a good thing. But I was really looking forward to driving over to see her compete - after all that's where most of my money goes these days - so it would nice to see if my investment in green is paying off!!!

No eventing for Dan and Rupert on Sunday :(
Dan has just 'phoned to say that the event she was competing in at the weekend has been cancelled due to heavy rain - and therefore - unsafe riding conditions - especially the cross country phase of the competition. The lovely green grass track turns to brown slimy mud when a couple of horses have ridden over it and then it becomes treacherous for everybody else.
