How old are you?

Last week I lost my switch card. No problem there - just call the bank and cancel it - they send a replacement. The problem is that I've just done it again...doh doh doh. I've just been to Tesco and was texting somebody while I was at the checkout and then left without my card. (Clearly there are issues here with Multi-tasking)  Fortunately the lovely helpful lady in Customer Services had it in her possession when I called just now - so there's no need for me to faff about cancelling it again and getting ANOTHER replacement.

Also at Tesco - I really struggled to park my big (Yorkie bars aren't for girls) black truck. I have never had issues with parking before - no matter how big a car I'm driving - I can even park a huge horse lorry - but today for some reason I was parking like a geriatric.

I just love this ageing process....Alzheimers, lack of spacial awareness and motor skills...next thing I'll be repeating myself. Next thing I'll be repeating myself. Next thing I'll be repeating myself.

  1. I happen to know that your 'Big Black Truck' is a Range Rover Sport, possibly the easiest car in the world to park in spite of it's size. You are indeed getting old. You will soon be driving at 15mph on the motorway!

Maybe you should set off now for the Christening. :-)

  3. No - it's not - it's a Nissan Navara - and I do a very respectable 60mph on the motorway. I'll be setting off on Wednesday :)

  5. I was just browsing blogs and yours really made me giggle.
If it makes you feel any better I've forgotten my card a few times and I'm 22! Nothing to do with getting old, just an active mind and interesting text messages!
