Finally the Government has seen sense and is withdrawing our boys from the Sangin region in the Helmand province. I have no clue what - if anything we've achieved by being there - apart from the tragic loss of the lives of
337 brave young people.
They're not all coming home - and the war isn't yet over - it seems like the beginning of the end though. I hope it all ends soon.
Bring them home.
It's all a good idea and I agree with you in principle but if they are brought back too soon then those 337 people will have dies for nothing.
