Appalled and disgusted...

Today, in the newspaper there are reports about the G8 Summit currently taking place in the Windsor Hotel in Japan. World Leaders are there discussing and debating poverty, hunger, desease, childhood deaths in third world countries and world food shortages. Our Mr Brown is there along with Mr Bush and many others. The presidential suite is being used by one of 'World Leaders' at an obscene cost of £7K per night. The G8 Summit is costing £283 million - an amount which incidentally would purchase over 100 million mosquito nets.

While the World leaders are there, discussing an end to poverty and world hunger they will enjoy a banquet - a veritable feast of 19 dishes. Can you hear me? - I said NINETEEN dishes of no doubt, luxury food. They should be given one sodding bowl of rice and then made to walk seven miles in their bare feet to go and fetch a glass of water.

In my opinion - these 'compassionate' men - should be lined up against a wall and shot, and it should be hungry people who fire the bullets from the weapon.

How can they sanction this amazingly gob-smacking disparity and blatant waste of money and resources that would go so far to helping those in dire need. How many medicines could be bought with this money? How much food? How many shelters? How many wells? What a bunch of hypocritical greedy selfish wankers.

  5. You also have to remember that Japan made a bit thing about increasing their donations to Africa by 200million this year and then spent 283 million on security for these self-important bastards at the G8. Yes, it is just the security that cost £283m!!

Remember also that Gordon Brown, while travelling to Japan for this meeting, wrote his 'don't waste food' crap that was in the papers last week. Nice!!

I agree that these people should be shot. I don't really know about the rest but Bush and Brown should both be shot for treason.

  9. The G8 is a summit - or 'meeting' where leaders of the G8 countries meet to discuss and hopefully go some way to solving the world's problems. The members are Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, UK&NI, USA and the EU..there are actually nine members not eight. Funnily enough all of these countries at some point in the not too distant past have been at war with each other - with some catastrophic consequences. They'll be inviting Iraq to join next.
