Driving Test

Dan took her driving test yesterday and - after cutting somebody up on a roundabout - unfortunately she failed. She's not too disappointed though as I've been telling her that nobody passes first time anymore, and to treat the first attempt as a practise.

I've also pointed out to her that if her Grandma can drive - surely anybody can?

Sorry Mum!

  1. The grandma argument wouldn't work in my family unfortunetely.

In the 80's you had to renew your license. My Granny forgot. She drove for 9 years without a valid license until one day she was found out. They made her retake her test and she just could not pass it - too many bad habits. After my Dad sat with her for hours doing 3 point turns over and over and over she finally passed on the 18th attempt.

That's pretty worrying isn't it. I wonder if Dan's granny is as incompetant on the roads as mine?
